Film productions have lots of moving parts — people are hired, equipment is rented, money is managed, contracts and paperwork are drawn up, and ultimately, a product is produced that is designed to make money. In order to help manage these resources, large studios create a separate company to keep the management of these resources contained within one company. In this module, we’re going to look at how to set up a company, how to establish the legal framework for the production, and how to design the infrastructure of the company.
